Michael Steiner, MD

 

Dr Steiner received his “Bachelor of Science with Honors” from Cornell University; then earned his M.D.with Honors at Cornell University Medical College. After completion of medical and surgical internship, Dr Steiner completed ophthalmology residency and sub-specialty training in oculoplastic surgery.

Dr. Steiner’s experience, knowledge, and unhurried attention to medical details are called upon in the management of cataracts, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

This office has attracted many seeking improvements in the appearance of their eyelids, as well as victims of eye injuries. We also specialize in secondary procedures for the many who have come to him seeking improvement after having undergone previous eyelid surgeries.  All surgeries are performed with the assistance of oral sedation; a safer alternative to general anesthesia.

In 2022, the King County Medical Society established its “Heart of Gold Award” to recognize Dr Steiner’s tireless commitment to humanitarian care for the indigent of his community.
